Emma has worked as a physiotherapist in adult neurological and aged care rehabilitation for 20 years. Originally from country NSW, she has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors in NSW, QLD and WA.

Emma began her career in major metropolitan hospitals in both Sydney (St George Hospital) and Perth (Royal Perth Hospital).  After developing a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation working at Shenton Park she furthered this with postgraduate studies in Neurological Rehabilitation at the University of Western Australia in 2006. She then went on to pass national exams to become a titled Neurological Physiotherapist of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) in 2008. In 2020 Emma was granted membership of the Australian College of Physiotherapists.
 
Emma was the original Senior Physiotherapist who helped shape the Rehabilitation In the Home Program in Perth before moving to Brisbane. She transitioned  into community roles at the Multiple Sclerosis Society, MyTurn Rehabilitation and the Mater Private Hospital Rehabilitation Unit. Emma gained experience working with private and compensible patients in both the clinic and home based settings.

Upon returning to Perth with a young family, Emma became a sessional clinical tutor of final year physiotherapy students for both Curtin and Notre Dame Universities and a casual weekend staff member at Hollywood Private Hospital in the Hughie Edwards Rehabilitation unit. In late 2017 Emma established Neuro Outcomes and in 2020 Emma moved into her current full time role as Director and Senior Physiotherapist.
